Christmas Celebrations, Community Highlights and a Look Ahead to 2026

The December 2025 to February 2026 edition of The Herald brings together the latest news, celebrations and stories from Herald Avenue Senior Citizens’ Club.

President Stella Short shares her appreciation for another successful year and looks forward to new activities, including a Thursday Games Day featuring Chess, Scrabble, Canasta and other board games. The newsletter also introduces the Club’s exciting plans to celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2026.

This edition includes highlights from the Christmas Breakfast, where members enjoyed a festive meal prepared with care by the Club’s dedicated volunteers. It also features updates from the Card-Making Group, Mahjong players and the Art Group, along with reports from the Melbourne Cup Luncheon, Annual Craft Fair and Swan Valley excursion.

Members can also read about the WA Seniors Card information session, the Club’s Remembrance Day observance and the volunteers who transformed the Centre with colourful Christmas decorations.
